Ova Parker

Four Oaks, NC: Mr. Ova Lee Parker, age 76, of 88 Sandy Road died Tuesday at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh. Funeral services will be 3:00PM Thursday at Rose & Graham Funeral Chapel in Benson. Officiating will be Rev. Billy Keene and Rev. Ronnie Byrd.   Burial will follow in Roselawn Cemetery in Benson. Mr. Parker was born May 4, 1936 in Johnston County to the late Leon and Mandy Beasley Parker.  He worked with Peden Steel for 25 years and retired with Structural Steel Products. Mr. Parker was a life long member of Unity Advent Christian Church.  Surviving are wife of 51 years, Doras Thornton Parker; Daughter & Son-in-law, Jennifer P. & Brian Whittington of Coats; Grandchildren, Jenna Marie Whittington and Ellen Renee Whittington; Sister & Brother-in-law, Barbara & Jerry Lambert of Benson; Brother & Sister-in-law, Wallace & Kathleen Parker of Fuquay Varina; Half-brother & wife, Dr. Anthony & Kathy Parker of Smithfield; and Several Nieces & Nephews. Family will receive friends at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson from 6:00PM to 8:00PM Wednesday.
