Patricia Norris

Benson, NC: Ms. Patricia “Patsy” Godwin Norris, age 74, of Benson died Tuesday at Liberty Commons. A memorial service will be held 2:00PM-Friday, November 30, 2012 at the Rose & Graham Funeral Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Randy Beasley. Ms. Norris was born September 16, 1938 in Sampson County to the late Robert Palmer and Francis Fox Godwin.  Ms. Norris was preceded in death by her Son, Eddie Norris, Three Sisters and Two Brothers. Ms. Norris retired from the restaurant business with 40 years of service. Surviving are her two daughters, Darlene Campbell of Linden and Ginger Norris of Erwin. Her four Sons, Tony Norris of Dunn, NC, Donald Norris of Dunn, John Norris of Florida and Samuel Norris of Sanford, NC. Sister, Jane Turns of Godwin, NC Brother, Michael Godwin of Greencastle, PA.  16 Grandchildren and 24 Great-Grandchildren. The Family will receive friends after the memorial service at the funeral home on Friday. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to one’s favorite charity. The Family wishes to express their appreciation to the Liberty Commons Family for their care given to their mother.
