Patsy Lynne Cheek

Four Oaks, NC: Patsy Lynne Parrish Cheek, age 76, passed away on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at UNC Johnston Health in Smithfield, NC. Funeral Services will be at 2:00PM-Monday, March 17, 2025 at Rose & Graham Funeral Chapel in Four Oaks, NC. Burial will follow in Barbour’s Chapel Advent Christian Church Cemetery, Four Oaks, NC. Rev. Grace Hargis will officiate.

Mrs. Cheek was the first baby born in Harnett County, NC on January 1, 1949 to the late Roy Earl and Jackie Jackson Parrish. Mrs. Cheek was a retired claims adjustor with the Employment Security Commission of North Carolina. She loved to read and watch TV. One of her greatest joys was her dog, Lyndi who passed away on February 18, 2025. She was a member of First Advent Christian Church of Four Oaks, NC.

Survivors include her sister, June P. Raynor and husband, Lamar of Four Oaks, NC; and many cousins.

The family will receive friends from 12:30PM-1:45PM, Monday, March 17, 2025 prior to the service at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Four Oaks, NC.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorials be made to the First Advent Christian Church PO Box 598, Four Oaks, NC 27524, Barbour Chapel Advent Christian Church PO Box 357, Four Oaks, NC 27524, or to the Johnston County Animal Shelter 115 Shelter Way, Smithfield, NC 27577.
