Angier, NC: Mr. Paul Douglas Hay, age 77, of 821 Penny Road passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2020 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. A Private Service will be held. Revs. Glenn McCullen and Brandon Teachey will officiate.
Mr. Hay was born on August 3, 1942 in Kentucky to the late Paul Graham and Annie Elizabeth Rupe Hay. He was preceded in death by his infant son. Mr. Hay was a retired accountant with ElectriCities of North Carolina. He was a retired member of the 50-210 Fire Department and EMS and was also a member of Benson Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church where he enjoyed singing for the Lord.
Surviving include his wife of 46 years, Laura P. Hay children, Paula Parker and husband, Troy; Paige Byrd and husband, Troy all of Benson; Tanya Hay and Tammy H. Thomas both of Florida; grandchildren, Adam Fields, Dalton Thomas, Madison Byrd, Amber Thomas, Reagan Byrd, Kennedy Byrd, Caleb Parker and Seth Parker; great granddaughter, Taylor Fields; sister, Janice Walker of Kentucky and a brother, Lloyd Hay of West Virginia; several nieces and nephews.
