Pauline Honeycutt Jones

McGee's Crossroads, NC:  Mrs. Pauline Honeycutt Jones, age 87, died Monday, November 5, 2018 at Liberty Commons Nursing and Rehabilitation in Benson. Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Saturday, November 10, 2018 at Providence Presbyterian Church.  Rev. Clyde Wiley will officiate.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.       Mrs. Jones was born August 7, 1931 in Johnston County to the late Fred and Bertie Stephenson Honeycutt. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Rudolph W. Jones; sisters, Maudie McGee and Edna McLamb; and brothers, Edward Honeycutt, Thomas Honeycutt, Leonard Honeycutt, Clyde Honeycutt, and Clarence Honeycutt.  Mrs. Jones retired from the State of North Carolina Employment Security Commission and was the recipient of the Order of the Long Leaf Pine.  She was a life long member of Providence Presbyterian Church where she received an honorary life membership in the Providence Presbyterian Women's Organization.  She and her husband enjoyed and were active participants in the Republican Party activities, local and statewide.  She enjoyed opening her home to her large, extended family and to her community.         Surviving include daughter, Joy A. Jones of McGee's Crossroads; son & daughter-in-law, Richard & Andrea A. Jones of McGee's Crossroads; grandchildren, Ryne Jones and Haley Jones; and numerous nieces and nephews.      The family will receive friends in the Fellowship Hall at Providence Presbyterian Church immediately following the service.      In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Providence Presbyterian Church, 14664 Hwy 210, Angier, NC  27501.      Arrangements by Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson.
