Pearl Farish

Smithfield,  NC:  Mrs. Pearl Massengill Farish, age 82, of 1188 Crantock Road, passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2020 at her residence with her loving family by her side.  Funeral Service will be 3:00 PM, Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at Oliver's Grove Baptist Church, Four Oaks. Revs. David Brantley, Charlie Carroll, Jr. and Derry Allen will officiate.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.                Mrs. Farish was born on January 10, 1938 in Johnston County to the late Robert and Effie Johnson Massengill.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Roger “Chuck” Farish, a grandson, Brian Farish and a sister and two brothers. Mrs. Farish was a hairdresser and owned and operated Pearl’s Klip and Kurl.  She was a member of Oliver’s Grove Baptist Church.               Surviving include her daughters and sons-in-law, Jenise F. and Gary Wood of Four Oaks; Mickey F. and Rev. Charlie Carroll, Jr. of Smithfield; son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Beverly Farish of Smithfield; grandchildren, Gary Wood, Jr. of Four Oaks; Jami Jernigan of Dunn; Charlie Wood of Smithfield; Christy Meekins of Garner; Brandon Farish of Raleigh, Ben Farish of Smithfield and Brooklyn Farish of Four Oaks; Brandon Carroll and Kristen Satterfield; great-grandchildren, Taylor Penley, Devan O'Keefe, Logan Creech, Weston Wiseman, Eli Wood, Payton Jernigan, Hailey Jernigan, Macie Creech, Emma Creech, Garah Wood, Riley Noble, Ashlyn Farish, Eli Satterfield, Finn Satterfield, Maggie Satterfield, Kaiden Meekins, Anna Jean Carroll, Leah Carroll, Alex Farish, Kennedy Farish, Braxton Atkinson, Wyatt Atkinson.             Mrs. Farish will be available for viewing and you may sign the register book from 3:00 PM-5:00 PM on Monday, June 15, 2020 and from 9:00 AM-12:00 PM at the funeral home, and prior to the service at Oliver’s Grove Baptist Church on Tuesday, June 16, 2020.  The family is meeting at the home of Tim and Beverly Farish, 1720 Crantock Road, Smithfield, NC 27577. Flowers are welcomed, however, memorials be may be made to Oliver's Grove Baptist Church, 8715 US Hwy 301 S., Four Oaks, NC 27524.             Arrangements announced by Rose & Graham Funeral Home, Four Oaks.
