Phillip Ray Dupree II

Benson, NC: Mr. Phillip Ray Dupree II age 44, passed away on Monday, October 21, 2024 at his home. Memorial Services will be held 11:00AM-Saturday, October 26, 2024 at Divine Street United Methodist Church in Dunn. Rev. Jacob Dye will officiate. 

Ray was born on August 19, 1980 in Wake County to Janelle Girouard Dupree and the late Phillip Ray Dupree, Sr.. Ray was also preceded in death by his maternal granny, Avanelle Yopp Girouard and his paternal grandfather, Gerald Ray Dupree. Ray was an electrician by trade. He loved coon hunting, walking trails with his faithful companion, Chief. Ray loved to volunteer in his community and his greatest love was his family and church.

Survivors include his wife of twelve years, Christy Dupree; children, Logan Harris and Laci Dupree; mother, Janelle Dupree, paternal grandmother, Norma Dupree; brother, Paul Dupree and wife, Danielle; sisters, Jill Parker and husband, Daniel, Genni Dupree; nieces and nephews, Ava, Langdon, Bella, Andrew, Dillon and Allie; aunts and uncles, Janet and Louis Parker, Wanda and Joey Reardon, and Mike Hicks along with many cousins. 

The family will receive friends after the memorial service.
