Rachel Cloer Little

Mrs. Rachel Cloer Little, age 85, peacefully passed away surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, November 20, 2018.  Funeral Service will be 12:00 PM Saturday, November 24, 2018, at Alexis Baptist Church, 118 Alexis Church Road, Alexis, NC 28006.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Rev. Dan Deaton will officiate.                      Mrs. Little was born on October 27, 1933, in Gaston County to the late Rev. Michael Gaines and Emma Ross Cloer.  She was preceded in death by her sister, Betty Parnell and brothers, Bill Cloer and Michael Cloer.  Mrs. Little was a loving mother, grandmother, and minister's wife; a member of Pleasant Memory Baptist Church; and a retired educator, teaching in Gaston, Sampson, and Craven County Schools.             Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Rev. Blair Little; sons and daughters-in-law, Stephen and Robbie Little of Raleigh; Robert and Robin Little of Clayton and Kenneth and Janet Little of Nashville, TN; grandchildren, Melissa Peduzzi and husband, Ryan of Mt. Juliet, TN; Michael Little and wife, Kallie of Atlanta, GA and Rev. David Little of Clayton; great-grandchildren, Hudson Peduzzi and Judah Peduzzi; sister, Ruth Anderson of Alexis, NC; many nieces and nephews.             The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM Friday, November 23, 2018, at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Coats, NC  and also on Saturday from  11:00 AM to 11:45 AM prior to the church service.             Memorials may be made to the Baptist Children's Homes of NC, P.O.
