Rayford Woodall

Four Oaks, NC: Mr.  Rayford Woodall, age 65, of 507 Maple Ave died Monday, October 29, 2018 at SECU Hospice House in Smithfield.  Graveside Memorial Service will be 11:00 AM, Thursday, November 1, 2018 at Barbour's Chapel Advent Christian Church Cemetery, Four Oaks, NC.   Rev. Troy Willey will officiate. Mr. Woodall was born in Johnston County to the late James David and Esther Inez Baker Woodall.  He was preceded in death by sister, Betty Ruth Woodall.  Mr. Woodall retired from the US Navy.  After retirement,  he also worked for the State of Kansas, J-CATS in Johnston County and also the Wake County Department of Transportation.  Mr. Woodall attended Family Worship Center. Surviving include wife of 28 years, Karen Timmons Woodall; children, Brenda Vestal of Kansas, Bobby Martin, Jr. of Alabama; Chanele McClain of Kansas and Rayford Woodall, Jr. of Vanceboro; 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Kay Stanley of Surf City; Judy Hardee of Clayton and Lynn Allen of Four Oaks; many nieces and nephews.   The family will receive friends anytime at the home.
