Rebecca Dunn

Benson, NC:  Mrs. Rebecca "Becky" Johnson Dunn, age 79, of 2049 NC 242 North died Sunday, March 3, 2019, at her residence with her loving family by her side. Funeral Services will be 3:00 PM Wednesday, March 6, 2019, at Banner Chapel Advent Christian Church. Officiating will be Revs. Joe Brown and Randy Beasley. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.            Mrs. Dunn was born in Johnston County on September 25, 1939 to the late Delma and Amanda Ellen Hudson Johnson.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Ransom Wade Dunn and sister, Martha Faircloth. While attending Meadow School she had 12 years of perfect attendance. Mrs. Dunn farmed throughout the years with her husband growing tobacco, sweet potatoes and produce on the family farm. She and her family have owned and operated Dunn's Garden Center in Benson for many years. Mrs. Dunn was a member of Banner Chapel Advent Christian Church.           Surviving include, sons and daughter-in-law, Tony and Cathy Dunn of Coats and Roger Dunn and friend, Angela Wilson  of Apex; daughter and son-in-law, Monica and Stephen Wood of Benson; grandchildren, Tonya and David Baker, Cody and Parrish Dunn, Amanda Dunn, Ayden Wood and Maggie Wood; great-grandchildren, Jackson Baker, Caroline Baker, Addison Dunn and Brynlee Dunn; daughter-in-law, Teresa Oldham of Benson; sister, Dorothy Fann of Clayton; brothers and sister-in-law, Odis Johnson of Benson and Earl and Annette Johnson of Stedman; many special nieces and nephews.           The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM-8:00 PM Tuesday, March 5, 2019, at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson and other times at the home.             Arrangements by Rose and Graham Funeral Home in Benson.
