Renate Aldridge

Benson, NC:  Mrs. Renate Glen White Aldridge, age 66, of 1069 Tarheel Road died Saturday, February 9, 2019, at UNC Johnston Healthcare in Smithfield.  Funeral Service will be 2:30PM, Friday, February 15, 2019 at Elevation United Methodist Church, Benson. Officiating will be Dr. Reginald Ponder. Entombment will follow in Roselawn Cemetery in Benson.             Mrs. Aldridge was born September 2, 1952  in Germany to Eugene and Ilse Binder White of Fayetteville.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Billy Stephenson.  Mrs. Aldridge owned and operated an Insurance Agency and was a  member of Elevation United Methodist Church.             Surviving in addition to her parents, are daughter and son-in-law, Christy and David Carter of Benson; son and daughter-in-law, Vernon and Kellie Aldridge of Fayetteville; four grandchildren; sister, JoAnn Cowan of Maine; brothers, Pat White of Southern Pines, Johnnie White of Fayetteville, Gene White of Autryville and Jurgen White of Fayetteville; several nieces and nephews.               The family will receive friends 1:00 PM - 2:15 PM, Friday in the church fellowship hall prior to the service and other times at the home.             Flowers are welcomed; however, memorials may be made to Elevation United Methodist Church, 5101 Elevation Road, Benson, NC 27504 and Cape Fear Valley Cancer Center, 6387 Ramsey St, #140, Fayetteville, NC 28311.              Arrangements by Rose and Graham Funeral Home in Benson.
