Renee Johnson

Raleigh, NC: Mrs. Reneé Barefoot Johnson, age 59, died Monday, June 11, 2012, at her residence. Funeral services will be 11:00AM Wednesday, June 13, 2012, at Hodges Chapel Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church in Benson. Officiating will be Revs. Condary Ellis and C. H. Lee. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. Mrs. Johnson was born September 2, 1952 in Harnett County to Gladys Young Barefoot of Dunn and the late Jesse Travis Barefoot, Sr.  She was also preceded in death by a brother, J. T. Barefoot, Jr. Mrs. Johnson was a graduate of Hardbarger’s Business School and a member of the Garner Jaycettes.  She was a homemaker and a real estate office manager. Surviving, in addition to her mother, are Husband of 39 years, Wayne Johnson; Children, Jessica Leigh Johnson of Raleigh, Brandon Wayne Johnson of Fuquay Varina, and Amber Reneé Johnson of Apex; Grandchildren, Dylan Johnson and Somer Johnson; and Sisters & Brothers-in-Law, Sue  & Tommy O’Briant of Raleigh and Elaine & Larry Hardison of Dunn; and Several Nieces & Nephews. Family will receive friends in the church sanctuary immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Wake County, 250 Hospice Circle, Raleigh, NC  27607.
