Rev. L. B. Collins

Benson, NC:  Rev. L.B. Collins, age 88, of Benson died Friday at his residence. Funeral services will be 11:00AM Monday at the Rose & Graham Funeral Home Chapel in Benson. Officiating will be Revs. Mark Fields, Doug Bartlett, Danny Nelson, and Wiley Clark. Burial will follow in Falcon Memorial Gardens, Falcon.             Rev. Collins was born June 4, 1927 in Harnett County to the late William and Mary Smith Collins. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Chelly Moore Collins; daughter, Debbie Kay Wall; and grandson, Jonathan Potter. Rev. Collins served as a minister for the Pentecostal Holiness Association for over 60 years, and served in the towns of Benson, Coats, Fuquay, Stedman, Bailey, Fayetteville, Tabor City, and St. Pauls.              Surviving include his daughter, Glenda Collins Johnson of Benson; two grandchildren, Gwen Winters and DeVan Wall; three great grandchildren, Elianna Elizabeth Winters, Zack Wall, and Devanee Wall; half-brother, Edward Collins of Lillington and half-sister, Faye Sanford of Apex.             Family will receive friends at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson from 9:30AM  to 10:30AM  Monday prior to the service.
