R. Genette Marler

Newton Grove, NC:  Mrs. Rebecca Genette McLamb Marler, age 78, of 1717 Barefoot Road died Sunday, March 17, 2013, at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh. Funeral Service will be 2:00PM Wednesday, March 20, 2013, at Rose & Graham Funeral Chapel in Benson. Officiating will be Rev. Bill West.  Burial will follow in Roselawn Cemetery. Mrs. Marler was born August 21, 1934 in Johnston County to the late Milburn and Lena Hudson McLamb.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Martin L. Marler, Jr.  Mrs. Marler was a homemaker and a member of Hood’s Grove Baptist Church. Surviving are Son & Daughter-in-law, Mark & Heather Marler of Newton Grove; Sisters, Ila Cret Turnage of Four Oaks, Frances Dunn of Benson, Alice Beasley of Benson, Cavelle Anderson of Boonville; and Brother, Bruce McLamb of Newton Grove. The family will receive friends at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson from 6:00PM to 8:00PM Tuesday, March 19, 2013. Flowers are welcomed; however, memorials may be made to N. C.
