Four Oaks: Mrs. Rhoda Lavon Craig Langdon, age 80, of 526 Reedy Creek Rd, died Monday, April 8, 2019 at SECU Hospice House in Smithfield, NC. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM, Saturday, April 13, 2019 at Oliver's Grove Baptist Church in Four Oaks. Officiating will be Rev. Steve Morris. Burial will follow in Hills of the Neuse Memory Gardens in Smithfield.
Mrs. Langdon was born on February 19, 1939 in Pulaski County, Virginia to the late Bernard Peyton and Edith Hanks Craig. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Alonzo Langdon, Sr. and a grandson, William Andrew Langdon. Mrs. Langdon was a retired certified nursing assistant and was a member of Oliver's Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include her sons, William "Will" Langdon, Jr. and Anna Conrad of Virginia and John Langdon and wife, Bonnie of Four Oaks; grandson, David Lee Langdon; great-grandchildren, Michael Langdon, Jacob Langdon, Ava Lavon Langdon, and Alex David Langdon; brother, Danny P. Craig of Virginia; many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends 6:00PM-8:00PM, Friday, April 12, 2019 at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Four Oaks.
The family wishes to thank the staff and nurses at the SECU Hospice House in Smithfield and also 2nd floor, UNC Johnson Health in Clayton for their love and care shown to Mrs. Langdon.
Flowers are welcomed; however; memorials may be made to one's favorite charity.
