Ricky Messer

Coats, NC:  Mr. Ricky Lavern Messer, age 59, died Tuesday at Transitions Life Care in Raleigh.  Funeral Service will be 3:00PM Friday at Coats United Methodist Church.  Officiating will be Rev. Rick Wilkerson.  Burial will follow in Coats City Cemetery.Mr. Messer was born October 11, 1957 in Harnett County to the late Winfred and Dorothy Lucas Messer.  He worked in the Maintenance Department for Harnett County Public Schools and was also a member of Coats United Methodist Church.Surviving are wife of twenty-five years, Ashley Henderson Messer; son, Tyson Statton Messer of the home; brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Benita Messer of Coats; many nieces and nephews.Family will receive friends Thursday 6:00PM - 8:00PM at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Coats and other times at the home.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Friends Fighting Cancer, 321 Cambridge Court, Dunn, NC 28334.Service Information
