Robert Thurman Parker

Dunn, NC: Mr. Robert Thurman Parker, age 38, passed away on Wednesday, March 15, 2023.  Funeral Services will be 3:00PM-Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at Overflow Church 8280 NC HWY 50, N. Angier, NC 27501. Private Burial will follow the service.

Robert was born on May 21, 1984 in Wake County, NC.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Thurman and Pauline Sorrell, and Elmon and Viola Flowers. Robert was a professional off-road racer with Team Momentum Racing.  He had a passion for God, his family, and racing. He attended Overflow Church, Angier, NC.

Surviving include his wife of 17 years, Casey Nicole Parker; children, Carleigh Nicole Parker, Nathan Cole Parker and Sawyer Grace Parker all of the home; mother, Pamela Ann Sorrell Parker of Coats, NC; father, Larry Ivey Parker, and wife, Joyce of Four Oaks, NC; sisters, Ivey Lynn Cathcart and husband, John of Raleigh, NC; and Kristie Parker Atkins and husband, Paul of Pleasant Garden, NC; mother and father-in-law, Vickie and Donnie Gainey of Dunn, NC; grandmother-in-law, Margie Raynor of Dunn,  NC; sister and brother-in-law, Carisa Pounders and husband, Blake of Erwin, NC; brother and sister-in-law, Joshua Gainey and wife, Lywisa of Dunn, NC; several nieces and nephews, and a host of many friends.

The family will receive friends at the home.
