Rodney Glenn Capps

Angier, NC: Mr. Rodney Glenn Capps, age 62, of Branch Lane passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2024 at his residence with his family by his side. The family will be holding private services to celebrate his life. 

Mr. Capps was born on January 23, 1962 in Wayne County to the late, Benny Capps and Betsy Prescott Sassano. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Dean McCullen and Mike McCullen. He worked in construction and enjoyed bowling, fishing, playing pool, loved to sing, cook, and loved sports of all kinds. He was a Die-Hard New England Patriots fan and more than anything in his life, he loved his children and grandchildren. 

Survivors include his wife, Sharon Capps; children, Aerial Goodman and husband, Hobie, Ashley Baker and husband, Jeremy, Brandon Lindsay and wife, Logan, Hollyn Capps, Frankie Capps, and Brooke Capps; grandchildren, Krislyn, Axl, Adyison, Averie, Jaxson, Bryan, and Ryleigh; siblings, Marcy Capps, Dawn Harris, and Chris McCullen; and step-mom, Annie Capps.
