Roger Lee Allen

Four Oaks, NC: Mr. Roger Lee Allen, age 69, passed away on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh, NC, surrounded by his loving family. Funeral Services will be 3:00PM, Sunday, February 2, 2025 at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Four Oaks, NC. Rev. Kevin Edwards will officiate. Burial will follow in Hills of the Memory Gardens in Smithfield, NC.

Mr. Allen was born on March 20, 1955 in Johnston County, NC to the late Laudie Demus (L.D.) Allen and Lois Lee Moore Allen. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Keith Allen, and a grandson, Chase D. Johnson. Mr. Allen was a retired meat cutter with Johnston County Country Hams, and also the assistant manager of the Red & White in Four Oaks, NC for over 25 years. He also was a former member of the Four Oaks EMS with over 10 years of service. He was a member of Four Oaks Church of God.

Survivors include his loving wife of 52 years, Teresa Dianne Byrd Allen; son, Scottie Lee Allen (Renee) of Four Oaks, NC; daughter, Wendy Denise Allen Upchurch (Scott) of Smithfield, NC; grandchildren, Sara Upchurch (Trey), Reed Allen, Ryder Allen, and Channing Rio; brothers, Roy Allen of Smithfield, NC, and Stacey Allen (Teri) of Four Oaks, NC; sister, LaRue A. Wood (Cerrito) of Four Oaks, NC; several nieces and nephews; special aunt, Shirley Eason. 

The family will receive friends from 2:00PM-2:45PM, Sunday, February 2, 2025 at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Four Oaks, NC and other times at the home.

The family wishes to thank ICU Nurses Savannah, Taylor, and Brandon at Wake Med, and they appreciate your thoughts and prayers.
