Roland Siller

Roland Siller, a devoted family man and respected veteran, passed away peacefully at his residence on January 6, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. A Celebration of Life service honoring Roland's legacy will be held on Monday, January 13, 2025, at 2:00 PM at his home. 

Roland was born on July 5, 1952, in St. Louis County, Missouri, Roland lived a life marked by his commitment to family, career, and country. Roland graduated with a Degree in General Studies, which served as a foundation for his professional journey. He retried after 14 years at MCI WorldCom, where he made significant contributions before his retirement. Following the events of September 11, he selflessly served his country as a satellite technician in Iraq, demonstrating his unwavering patriotic spirit. As a retired Staff Sergeant with the Army's 82nd Airborne, Roland upheld the values of honor and tradition. He was a lifetime member of the Disabled Veterans of America, reflecting both his dedicated service and his ongoing commitment to fellow veterans.

A man of deep convictions, Roland was known for his giving nature and devotion to family. He enjoyed spending time with his loved ones and had a passion for animals and war history. His appreciation for firearms was well-known, and his interests often sparked engaging conversations among friends and family.

Roland is survived by his beloved wife, Rhonda W. Siller; daughter, Paula Siller; and brothers, Ramon, Louis, Rudy, Ronald, Renard, and Roger Siller. He is also survived by his sisters, Christine Siller, and Victoria Foster.; and his mother-in-law, Bessie Whitten. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rudolph V. Siller and Lillian D. Garcia Siller, and brothers Gerard and Gregory Siller.

His family invites all who knew and loved him to join in honoring a remarkable man who touched the lives of many.
