Rosa Pollard

Wilson Mills, NC: Mrs. Rosa Lee Pollard, age 88, passed away on Thursday, December 24, 2020 at UNC Johnston Health in Smithfield, NC.  Funeral Services will be held 12:00PM, Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at Smithfield Church of God.  Interment will follow in Hills of The Neuse Memory Gardens in Smithfield. Rev. Jerry Waters will officiate.                           Mrs. Pollard was born on November 8, 1932 in Johnston County to the late Harvey and Flora Baker Ennis.  She was preceded in death by her husband, William Howard Pollard and her two sons, Howard Bruce Pollard and William Larry Pollard. Mrs. Pollard retired from Exide Electronics and was a member of Smithfield Church of God.               Surviving include her children, Danny Ray Pollard and wife, Buffy, and Tammy Smith and husband, Glen; sixteen grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren and thirteen great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Lois Finch and Jean Rose; many nieces and nephews.               In accordance with NC-COVID19 guidelines, the funeral home suggests practicing social distancing and the three W's: wait, wash, and wear a face covering.
