Rosa Lee Johnson

Four Oaks: Mrs. Rosa Lee Temple Johnson, age 87, of Four Oaks, died Tuesday, October 16, 2012, at Smithfield Manor in Smithfield. Funeral services will be 11:00AM Friday, October 19, 2012, at the First Baptist Church of Four Oaks. Officiating will be Rev. John Norman. Burial will follow at Benson City Cemetery, Benson. Mrs. Johnson was born February 23, 1925 in Harnett County to the late Howard Page and Ella Blackman Temple. She was preceded in death by her husband, Christopher Walton Johnson. Mrs. Johnson was a 1945 graduate of Louisburg College. She was a retired salesclerk and bookkeeper for 42 years with Lillian’s in Benson and was a member of First Baptist Church of Four Oaks. Surviving include; Son, Dr. Christopher P. Johnson and wife, Patricia, of Raleigh; Cousins, Edison and Jenny Temple and William “Bill” and Elaine Ellis, all of Four Oaks. Family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the funeral service.
