Rossie Massengill, Jr.

Princeton, NC: Mr. Rossie Massengill, Jr., age 69 of Rains Crossroads Road passed away on Monday, November 25, 2024 at his home. Funeral Services will be 11:00AM Saturday, November 30, 2024 at the Rose & Graham Funeral Home Chapel in Four Oaks. Officiating will be Rev. Johnny Dicorte. Burial will follow in the Parker Family Cemetery in Four Oaks. 

Mr. Massengill was born on February 10, 1955 in Johnston County to the late Rossie Massengill, Sr., and Gladys Messer Massengill. He was preceded in death by brothers, Raymond Massengill, Ronnie Massengill, Ray Massengill, and Derwood Massengill. Mr. Massengill retired from the Town of Smithfield with the Public Works Department. He was an avid fisherman and was a member of the Church of Faith in Selma. Mr. Massengill was always willing to lend a helping hand.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Glenda Sue C. Massengill; son, Rossie Massengill, III of Spartanburg, SC; sister, Betty M. Allen of Clayton; several nieces and nephews. 

The family will receive friends from 10:00AM to 10:45AM on Saturday, November 30, 2024 at the Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Four Oaks.
