Ruby Barefoot

Benson, NC: Mrs. Ruby Faye Ivey Barefoot, age 70, of 10443 NC Hwy 96 South died Sunday at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh.  Funeral Services will be 2:0PM Wednesday at Rose & Graham Funeral Chapel.  Officiating will be Rev. Glenn McCullen.  Entombment will follow in Roselawn Cemetery.      Mrs. Barefoot was born in Johnston County on December 2, 1943 to the late Crawford and Annie Johnson Ivey.  She was preceded in death by a sister, Kathryn I. Jackson.  She worked at PGI (formerly Chicopee) for 13 years and was a homemaker.      Surviving are her husband, Levone Barefoot; daughter & son-in-law, Sonja B. & Rodney Wood of Benson; sons & daughters-in-law, Samuel & Donna Barefoot and Stephen & Michelle Barefoot, all of Benson, five grandchildren, five great grandchildren; sister, Hilda Tart of Dunn; brother, Farion Ivey of Erwin; and several nieces and nephews.      The family will receive friends at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson from 6:00PM to 8:00PM Tuesday. Flowers are welcomed; however, memorials may be made to one's favorite charity.
