Coats, NC: Mrs. Ruth Norris Stephenson, age 79, passed away on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at Central Harnett Hospital in Lillington, NC. Graveside Funeral Services will be 11:00AM-Monday, September 20, 2021 at Coats City Cemetery in Coats, NC. Rev. Hollis Fedrick will officiate.

Mrs. Stephenson was born on August 30, 1942 in Harnett County, NC to the late Larkin and Bertha Caudle Norris. She was also preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. Mrs. Stephenson retired from the retail business, and was also a homemaker.

Left to cherish her memory, include her husband, Carl D. Stephenson; children, Sue Stewart Johnson and husband, Kent, William Walter Stewart, Jr., and wife, Jacquelyn, Timothy Walter Stewart and wife, Holly; grandchildren, Corinthia Williams, Amber Johnson, Brad Stewart and Brooke Stewart; six-great-grandchildren; sister, Betty Stewart and a brother, Rev. Edwin Norris; many nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Stephenson will be available for viewing, and you may sign the register book from 8:30AM-10:30AM on Monday, September 20, 2021 at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Coats, NC. The family will not be present during this time.
