Sara Mintz West

Coats, NC: Ms. Sara Mintz West, age 70, of Edna Parrish Lane passed away on Monday, May 9, 2022 at UNC Hospital in Clayton. Memorial Service will be held on Friday, May 13 at 2:00 pm at the Rose & Graham Chapel in Coats. Pastor Eddie White will be officiating.

Ms. West was born on July 12, 1951 in Cumberland County, NC to the late Norman S. and Annie Bell Holder Mintz. She was preceded in death by her brother, Norman Currie Mintz. Ms. West was a tire builder at Kelly Springfield and was an avid animal lover.

Surviving includes her children, Jerry Goggio of Bailey, Mary Collins and husband Tim of Benson and Billy Goggio and wife Bambi of Dunn; grandchildren, Robert Gautier. Kyle Collins, Rhiannon Goggio, Sommer Guin, Cody Goggio, Sarah Jane Goggio and Andrew Lee Goggio; seven great grandchildren and a sister, Alice M. Blanton and husband David of Fayetteville.
