Coats, NC: Mrs. Sarah Hart Cooper, age 88 of 7962 NC 27 East passed away Thursday evening at E. Carlton Powell Hospice Center in Lillington.  Funeral Service will be held Sunday, May 20, 2012 at 2:00PM at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Coats.  Officiating will be Rev. Billy Nowell. Burial will follow in Devotional Gardens, Dunn.  Mrs. Cooper was born May 13, 1924 in Granville County to the late Sam and Mary Newton Hart. She was preceded in death by a Son, Charles Glenwood Cooper; Sisters, Minnie Johnson, Jessie Mae James, Bertha Gray McLean, and Louise Parrish. Mrs. Cooper was a retired seamstress and was a member of Red Hill PFWB Church. Surviving include; Husband, Thomas E. Cooper of Coats; Sons, Carl Wayne Cooper of Lewisville, NC, Thomas Edward Cooper of Coats, Ray Bennett of Mississippi, and David Bennett of Raleigh; Six Grandchildren; Seven Great-Grandchildren; Several Nieces and Nephews; Special Heartfelt Friend, Gina Byrd. Family will receive friends at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Coats, Saturday evening, May 19, 2012 6:00pm until 8:00pm and other times at the home.  Flowers are welcomed, however memorial maybe made to the American Cancer Society P.
