Seth David Allen, Jr.

Mr. Seth David Allen, Jr., age 61, passed from “glory to Glory” as he died of a heart attack on his front porch, looking out over his pond, on Saturday, September 24, 2022.  A Visitation will be held 6:00PM-8:30PM on Friday, September 30, 2022 at Faith Community Church 2225 Aversboro Road, Garner, NC 27529.  A Memorial Service will be held 2:00PM, Saturday, October 1, 2022 at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church 3000 E. Garner Road, Raleigh, NC 27610.  A Time of Sharing will be held from 3:00PM-4:30PM immediately following the service. All Services will be held by the family.  Pastor Keith Wilson will officiate.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Libby, who was there with him at the end.  He is also survived by daughters, Carol Carter and husband, Alex, Elise Beam and husband, Allan, Caitlyn Allen, and Erin Allen; grandchildren, William, Joshua, Evie, and Carson Beam; sister, Sandra Bowman, and brother, Steve Allen.  He was known for his passion for Christ, his connection with people, his skill in preaching and teaching, and his love of watercolor and nature.
