Willow Spring, NC: Mrs. Sharon Ann Jones Johnson, age 54, of Willow Spring died Sunday, April 8, 2012, at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh. Graveside funeral services will be 2:00PM Tuesday, April 10, 2012, at Barbourtown Church of God Cemetery in Benson. Officiating will be Revs. Chris Searles and Billy Lawson. Mrs. Johnson was born August 10, 1957 in Johnston County to Avis Beasley Jones of Smithfield and the late Walter “P. D.” Jones. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Donald Roy Johnson. Mrs. Johnson was a preschool teacher, homemaker, and member of Barbourtown Church of God. Surviving, in addition to her Mother, are her Son, Walter Cameron Johnson of Newport, NC; Daughters, Rhonda Creech of Clayton, Mary Elizabeth Johnson and Daisy Rose Johnson, both of the home; and Grandchildren, Dustin Johnson, Aiden Johnson, Emma Johnson, Jackson Johnson, and Grayson Blackman Family will receive friends from 12:30PM to 1:30PM Tuesday prior to the service at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson, and other times at the home of Avis B. Jones, 209 Stancil St., Smithfield, NC. Following the graveside service, the family will receive friends in the fellowship hall of Barbourtown Church of God.
