Coats, NC:  Mrs. Shelby Jean McGee Parrish, age 82, of Coats, died Monday, July 22, 2019 at Harnett Health in Lillington. Graveside Services will be Thursday, July 25, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Coats City Cemetery in Coats. Rev. Alex Ramos will officiate.             Mrs. Parrish was born October 27, 1936 in Harnett County to the late Marvin and Eula Edna Parrish McGee. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Wayne Parrish, and daughter, Maria Ann Parrish. Mrs. Parrish was a homemaker.             Surviving includes her daughter, Marcia P. and Thomas Wood of Coats; grandchildren, Tammy and David Bass of Coats, Bryan Wood of Coats, Justin and Jennifer Johnston of Dunn; great-grandchildren, Abby Smith, David Bass, Noah Bass, Colton Wood, Brentley Wood, Knowledge Sanders, Nate Sanders, Gavin Johnston; and great-great-granddaughter, Ella Kramer.              Family will receive friends following the graveside service.           Flowers are welcome; however, memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
