Shelton Ray Barefoot

Four Oaks, NC: Mr. Shelton Ray Barefoot., age 80, of Hollow Oak Drive was called home on Friday, October 29, 2021 at the SECU Hospice House surrounded by his loving family. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 P.M.-Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at the Rose & Graham Funeral Home Chapel in Benson. Burial will follow in the Barefoot Family Cemetery in Benson. Rev. Johnny Haney will officiate.

Mr. Barefoot was born on June 21, 1941 in Harnett County to the late George Otha and Core Vestle Barefoot. Shelton was also preceded in death by his three wives, Spicey Tart Strickland, Carolyn Maynard Barefoot and Stella Irene Brown Barefoot, his daughter, Susan Annette Barefoot and sister, Joyce Ann Morgan.

Surviving include his children, William Barefoot and wife Sandra of Benson, Cynthia Norris and her husband Donald of Benson, Karen Barnett and her husband Andy of Greenville, SC, Otha Ray Barefoot of Greenville, NC; brother, Jerry Barefoot of Benson; grandchildren, Martha Alice Faucette, Daniel Barefoot and wife Amanda, Brandon Barefoot and fiancé Courtney, Morgan Young and husband David, and Landon Norris; great grandchildren, Kayse Keene, Bradley Keene, Sierra Mitchell, Chesney Mitchell and Paigeleigh Young.

Family will receive friends at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson on Monday, November 1, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm, and at other times at the home of William Barefoot and wife Sandra.
