Sherrill Wayne Raynor

Benson: Mr.  Sherrill Wayne Raynor, age 68, of  509 Surles Road, passed away peacefully with his family by his side Sunday at his residence.  Funeral service will be 11:00AM Wednesday at Banner Chapel Advent Christian Church, Benson, NC.  Rev. Glenn Fell will officiate.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.             Mr. Raynor was born on April 22, 1948 in Harnett County to the late William Sherrill and Marion Norris Raynor. He was preceded in death by his brother, Randy Lee Raynor. Mr. Raynor retired from Time Warner Cable and was the owner and operator of Raynor Towing. He was a US Navy Veteran and member of Banner Chapel Advent Christian Church.               Survivors include wife of 40 years, Ann Hayes Raynor; daughters, Kelly Ann Raynor of Benson, and Lori Raynor Turnage and husband, Brian of Broadway; grandchildren, Freddy Wayne Turnage, Jordan Lee Raynor and Hannah Nicole Messer; sister, Sharon Benson of Four Oaks; brothers, James Carol Raynor of Four Oaks, Roy Glenn Raynor of Benson, and William Christopher Raynor of Hillsborough; loving mother-in-law, Lorease Hayes of Benson; many nieces and nephews.             Family will receive friends 6:00PM-8:00PM Tuesday at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson.             Flowers are welcomed; however, memorials may be sent to Banner Chapel Advent Christian Church, PO Box 423, Benson, NC 27504.
