Shirley Neighbors Adams

Benson, NC: Mrs. Shirley Neighbors Adams, age 86, passed away on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.  Funeral Services will be 11:00AM-Friday, August 26, 2022 at Banner Chapel Advent Christian Church.  Rev. Joe Brown will officiate.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Adams was born on April 27, 1936 in Harnett County, NC to the late Russell and Lillie McLamb Neighbors.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, John Lundie “JL” Adams and her brother, Cleon Neighbors.  Mrs. Adams retired from BB&T Bank as a bank teller.  She was a member of Banner Chapel Advent Christian Church.

Survivors include children, Belinda Niedwick and husband, Jim, and Brent Adams and wife, Tonya; grandchildren, Kayla Niedwick, Cassidy Adams Stickl and husband, Andrew, Jordan Niedwick, Kandis Adams and Kenzie Adams; one great-grandson, Jaiden Hines; sisters, Clare Creech and Evelyn McLamb; many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends 6:00PM-8:00PM-Thursday, August 25, 2022 at Rose and Graham Funeral Home in Benson, NC and other times at the home.
