Sondra House Lee

Erwin, NC: Mrs. Sondra House Lee, age 79, passed away on Monday, September 27, 2021 at Transitions Hospice House in Raleigh, NC with her loving family by her side. Funeral Services will be 11:00AM-Friday, October 1, 2021 at Porters Chapel Church in Dunn, NC. Burial will follow in Harnett Devotional Gardens in Dunn, NC. Rev. Kevin Haynes will officiate.

Mrs. Lee was born on August 18, 1942 in Cumberland County, NC to the late Otis Tilghman and Myrtle Williams House. She was also preceded in death by her husband, W.A. Lee, daughters, Portia Neubaumn, and Amelia Lee Hudson, granddaughter, Tiffany Nicole Tyer and a great-granddaughter, Rylan Brook Riddle. Mrs. Lee retired from the federal government, and was a member of Porter’s Chapel Church, Dunn, NC.

Surviving include her daughter, Melody Lee and special friend, Bobby Sherman; grandchildren, Jacob Scott Tyer, Autumn Riddle and Colton Byars, great-grandchildren, Jacob Lee Tyer, William Albert Lee and Skylar Riddle.

The family will receive friends 6:00PM-8:00PM Thursday, September 30, 2021 at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Coats, NC and other times at the home of Melody Lee.

In accordance with NC-COVID-19 guidelines, the funeral home suggests practicing social distancing and the three W's: wait, wash, and wear a face covering. Masks are not required, but are kindly recommended for all services.
