Stacy Ethun Stevens

Stacy Ethun Stevens of Winter Park Florida surrounded by family, ended her long battle with Cancer on November 2^nd, 2023 at the age of 65 years.  Stacy was born on June 20, 1958 in Madison Wisconsin to Carol and Burnell Ethun.  Funeral services will be held at Bethel Original Free Will Baptist Church on November 18, 2023 at 11:00 am located at 3168 State Hwy 96, Four Oaks NC.  A Celebration of Life will be held 11:00AM Friday, December 1, 2023 at Encounter Christian Church, 1140 S. Lakemont Ave. Winter Park, FL 32792.

Stacy had a long career in banking prior to starting her own Executive Recruiting firm, The Park Avenue Group, in 1997 - a franchise of the MRI (Management Recruiters International) Network, the largest Executive Search franchise in the world. Stacy won Rookie Office of the Year, was recognized as the Top Billing Manager internationally and received multiple Pacesetter awards. In 2005, Stacy was nominated to the Pinnacle Society - an organization that recognizes the highest achievement nationally in Executive Search.

For twenty years she loved her condo on the beach at Ponce Inlet, this was her refuge. She loved to travel the world and she loved her close posse of girlfriends. She probably had no idea of just how positively impactful she was in the lives of others, both personally and professionally. Stacy always made a deliberate effort to hand out a genuine compliment to others, whether they were perfect strangers or someone she knew. Making someone smile always made her feel good. Stacy formally accepted Christ as her personal savior on June 24, 2023 which secured her name written in Lamb’s Book of Life.  For those of us who have also chosen to accept Christ’s invitation, we are delighted in the fact that we will see her again and this time, forever!

Survivors include her loving husband Marc Stevens of Winter Park FL, son Justin Vokus (Michelle) of Brandon FL, two grandchildren Kennedy 8 and Troy 5, stepmother Karen Ethun of Madison WI, stepfather Walt Williams of Orlando FL, sister  Elizabeth Davis (Mike) of Lake Nona FL, brother Brent Ethun (Marsha) of Dallas TX and many loving nieces and nephews.   

Stacy was predeceased by her mother, Carol Williams and her father, Burnell Ethun.
