Stephen Carroll Glover

 Benson, NC: Mr. Stephen Carroll Glover, age 64, passed away on Sunday, November 5, 2023 at Liberty Commons Nursing and Rehab Center in Benson, NC of complications due to cancer. A Graveside Funeral Service with immediate family will be held at Oakdale Cemetery in Washington, North Carolina on Friday, November 10, 2023.

Mr. Glover, known to his family and friends as Steve, was born on September 17, 1959, to the late Raymond Carroll and Shirley May Dunston Glover.  He was also preceded in death his sister, Ann Kimberly Glover Bowden.  He was a retired manager in the food service industry.

Survivors include his brother-in-law, Andrew V. Bowden, Jr.; nephew, Andrew V. Bowden, III; niece, Wendy K. Bowden; aunt, Barbara Glover, and his life partner, Peggy Burchett.

Steve had a degree in history. He was an avid reader and liked computer gaming. He was a loyal, hard worker. He will be remembered for his wry sense of humor and his kind heart.
