Stephen "Steve" David Powers

Benson, NC: Mr. Stephen “Steve” David Powers, age 69, of W. Pope St. passed away on Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at UNC Hospital in Smithfield. The Powers Family will be holding a memorial service on Thursday, November 16 at 11:00 AM at Ten Mile Baptist Church, 5176 Barker Ten Mile Rd.  Lumberton 28358.

Mr. Powers was born on November 5, 1954 in Robeson County, North Carolina to the late James Carl Powers, Sr. and Louise Cox Powers. Mr. Powers was an electrician.

Surviving includes his siblings, Joan W. Powers, James “Jim” Carl Powers, Jr. and wife, Frances, Kathy L. Caudle, Jeffrey P. Powers and wife, LaDonna, Malcolm J. Powers; nine nieces and nephews; numerous grand nieces and nephews; several great nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
