Four Oaks; Mrs. Tara Fuqua Bolden, age 66, of Creekside Dr. passed away on Sunday, August 27 at UNC Health Johnston in Smithfield, surrounded by her loving family. Funeral Services will be held 12:00PM on Saturday, September 2 at Rose and Graham Funeral Home in Four Oaks. The family will receive friends from 11:00AM to 11:45AM at Rose and Graham Funeral Home in Four Oaks.
Mrs. Bolden was born on October 9, 1956, in Ft. Devens, Massachusetts to the late Jerry Hopkins Fuqua and Sandra Hudgins Hinton. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter, Jameca Bolden. Tara was raised by her Aunt Brenda in Wilmington. Later in life she moved and lived with her grandmother, Georgia Ardoth Hudgins in Burlington, NC. Tara graduated from Wilmington High School. Early in life Tara confessed Christ as her personal savior. She was a member of Juniper Grove of Christ Church in Four Oaks. Tara loved to crochet and knit and she loved her family and grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband of 39 years, James Bolden, Sr.; her children, James Bolden, Jr., Allison Harrison and husband, Timmie, and Terrell McCrae; grandchildren, Marquel Holmon, Elijah McCrae, Rebecca McCrae, Tiease Edgerton, Terrence McCrae, Terrell McCrae and the Great Prynce Amari Edgerton; a brother-in-law, Charles H. Bolden, Jr.; aunts, Lutisha McNeill and Geneva Raye; special cousins, Sandy, Jackie and Alexisis Edgerton and a host or other family and friends.
The family would like to thank everyone for their prayers and acts of kindness. May each of you be blessed with the favor of God.
