Teresa Griffin Allen

Four Oaks, NC: Mrs. Teresa Griffin Allen, age 73, passed away on Thursday, June 24, 2021 at Rex Hospital in Raleigh, NC. Funeral Services will be at 3:00PM Monday, June 28, 2021 at Oliver’s Grove Baptist Church, Four Oaks, NC. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Rev. David Brantley will officiate.

Mrs. Allen was born on August 27, 1947 in Wake County to the late Billie Ray and Helen Ellis Pittman. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Lonnie “L.H.”. Allen, Jr. and a sister, Scarlet Bailey. Mrs. Allen retired from Progress Energy where she was an Admin Supervisor and a homemaker. She loved her church, family, and was a member of Oliver’s Grove Baptist Church, Four Oaks, NC.

Surviving include her aunt, Aldine Parrish of Clayton; many loving nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, Sunday, June 27, 2021 at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Four Oaks and other times at the home.

Flowers are welcomed; however, memorials may be made to Oliver’s Grove Baptist Church, PO Box 663, Benson, NC 27504.
