Thomas Barnett

Dunn:  Mr. Thomas Lloyd Barnett, age 65, of 8387 Julian Road died Tuesday at VA Medical Center in Durham. Funeral Service will be 11:00AM Friday at Rose & Graham Funeral Chapel in Benson.  Rev. Roy Johnson will officiate.  Burial will follow in Roselawn Cemetery.               Mr. Barnett was born April 5, 1946 in Webster, West Virginia to the late Wilfred C. and Violet Brown Barnett. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Dorothy Ball Barnett, and a granddaughter, Jody LeAnn Denise.  Mr. Barnett served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam Era.  He was a truck driver and had worked with Barefoot Trucking and Young Auto Salvage.              Surviving include Wife, Sylvia Averitte; Daughters & Sons-in-Law, Janice & James Byrd of Newport, NC, Violet Estelle Barnett of Stinhatchee, FL, and Patsy & Jerome Honeycutt of Dunn; Sons & Daughter-in-Law, Thomas L. & Denise Barnett of Clayton and Charles Barnett of Lititiz, PA; Step-son, John Henry Averitte of Dunn; Brothers, James Barnett and David Barnett, both of Colwen, WV; and 14 Grandchildren.             Family will receive friends at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson from 6:00PM to 8:00PM Thursday and other times at the home of Patsy & Jerome Honeycutt, 7618 Rhodes Pond Road, Dunn.             In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sylvia Averitte, c/o First Federal, 200 E.
