Thomas Eugene "Timmy" Pennewill

Dunn, NC: Mr. Thomas Eugene “Timmy” Pennewill, age 47, of Tart Town Road, passed away on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Funeral Services will be 2:00PM-Sunday, April 25, 2021 at Smyrna O. F. W. B. Church in Dunn. Revs. Billy Nowell, Richard Whitman, and Greg Tart will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Timmy was born on July 28, 1973 in Pennsylvania to Margaret Jeanette Norris of Erwin and to the late Thomas Jones Pennewill, Jr. He was preceded in death by a sister, Sandy Dennis. Timmy was a lab tech with Martin-Marietta and a member of Smyrna O.F.W.B. Church. Timmy’s passion in life was his love for his wife, children, and all of his extended family.

Surviving in addition to his mother are his wife of 19 years, Darlene Jackson Pennewill; children, Kendall Faith Pennewill, Jace Thomas Pennewill, Jackson Noah Pennewill all of the home; sisters, Janet Faircloth and husband, Timmy of Erwin, Pat Jackson and husband, David of Coats, Amy Owens of Dunn; brother-in-law, Rudy Dennis of Erwin; many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6:00PM to 8:00PM Saturday, April 24, 2021 at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson and other times at the home.

In accordance with NC-COVID-19 guidelines, the funeral home suggests practicing social distancing and the three W's: wait, wash, and wear a face covering. Masks are required for all services.
