Benson, NC: Mr. Thomas Cleamon “T.C.” Miller, age 92, of Miller Road died Friday, October 2, 2020 at Rex Healthcare in Raleigh. Funeral Services will be 11:00AM-Thursday, October 22, 2020 at Hodges Chapel Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church, Benson, NC. Officiating will be Revs. Curtiss Tatum, Tom Wagoner and Jerry Edwards. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mr. Miller was born on February 4, 1928 in Harnett County to the late Charlie and Iva Miller. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 69 years, Mildred Parrish Miller; sister, Faye Stancil; brothers, Glenn Miller and Ottis Miller. Mr. Miller retired with 30 years of service from Durham Life Insurance Company where he served as manager of the Dunn office. He was a member of Hodges Chapel PFWB Church.
Surviving include his daughter, Phyllis Porter and husband, David of Raleigh; son, Terry Miller and wife, Ann of Angier; grandchildren, Jeffrey Miller (Cheri West and children, Amber & Kyle), Stephen Porter (Jamie), Shannon Eason (Rodney) and Ashley Porter; step-grandchildren, Sonnya Pope (Michael), Jimmy Lee (Angie), Tanya Turlington (Jeff), and Angie Ellington (Rick); great-grandchildren, Amanda Johnson (Zack), Ashlynn Byerly (Ben), and Margot, Silas, Haywood, Jane, Olivia, and Madelyn Porter; great-great-grandchild, Mary Scott Johnson; sisters, Mae Pleasant and Kay McLamb (George); brother, Bobby Miller (Laura); sister-in-law, Jackie Miller; special friend, Elda Jones and special family, Rev. Jerry and Joy Edwards, Joy Ruth, Jonathan, and Jeremy.
A time of visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 from 12:00PM-5:00PM at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson, NC. The family will not be present during this time.
In accordance with the current NC-COVID-19 guidelines, the funeral home suggests practicing social distancing guidelines and the three W's: wait, wash and wear a face covering. A mask is required for the service on Thursday.
