Thomas Trent

Four Oaks, NC:  Mr. Thomas Irven Trent, age 88 of 106 Trent Lane died Friday at his residence. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Tuesday at Rose & Graham Funeral Chapel in Four Oaks. Officiating will be Rev. Sammy Langdon. Burial will follow in Barbour's Chapel Advent Christian Church Cemetery.             Mr. Trent was born on January 9, 1929 in West Virginia to the late John and Anna Trent. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Inez Harless, Charles Trent, and Clara "Tootie" Buchanan and step-daughter, Sheryl L. Bannister.  Mr. Trent retired from Channel Master.  He was a US Army Veteran serving in WWII and also a member of Four Oaks American Legion.  He attended Freedom Chapel Church.                Surviving include his wife of 29 years, Vivian Gibson Trent; children, Patricia "Patty" McClain, Gary Lee Ball, Herbert Orlando Ball, Jr., Jack Martin Ball, Henry Hayden Ball and Vivian D. Ball Johnson; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephew.             The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM-2:45 PM prior to the service Tuesday at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Four Oaks.
