Valta "Ann" Norris

Lexington, NC:  Mrs. Valta Annabelle "Ann" Boyer Norris, age 77, formerly of Dunn died November 27, 2019, at Hospice of Davidson County in Lexington, NC.  Funeral Service will be 3:00 PM,  Monday, December 2, 2019, at Rose and Graham Funeral Home Chapel in Benson, NC.  Officiating will be Rev. Scott Johnson.  Burial will follow at Stones Creek Advent Christian Church Cemetery, Benson, NC.          Mrs. Norris was born in Carter County, Missouri on January 29, 1942 to the late Sidney and Cleta Leach Boyer. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Aaron Norris and brothers, Willard Boyer and Winston Boyer.  Mrs. Norris retired from Young and Hinkle Furniture Company.             Surviving include her children, Cindy Manis and husband, Albert of MO, Keith Raymer, and wife, Wanda of Rougemont, NC; Lisa Hurt and husband, Jeff, and Daniel Norris and wife, Leslie all of Lexington, NC; eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Violet Chilton, Dwight Boyer, Carlos Boyer, Yvonne Collins, Darlene Hampton and Joy Brooks all of MO; several nieces and nephews; and special friend, William Bill Norris of Lexington, NC.             The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:45 PM - 2:45 PM, Monday, December 2, 2019, at Rose and Graham Funeral Home in Benson.                         Arrangements by Rose and Graham Funeral Home in Benson, NC.
