Virginia Ann Bryant Mathena-Jones

Clayton, NC: Mrs. Virginia Ann Bryant Mathena-Jones, age 86, passed away on Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at the SECU Hospice House in Smithfield, NC, surrounded by her loving family. A Private Burial was held at Hills of The Neuse Memory Gardens, Smithfield, NC.

Mrs. Jones was born on March 3, 1938 in Virginia to the late Ralph David and Mary Pauline Wright Bryant. She retired as an inspector with Bayer Pharmaceuticals in Clayton, NC. Mrs. Jones was loved by her family.

Survivors include her husband, Reverend Joseph B. Jones, daughter, Shelia Cuddington, sons, David Mathena and Roger Mathena; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
