Virginia Johnson

Mrs. Virginia George Johnson, age 80, of 313 West Main Street died Wednesday, November 16, 2011, at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh. Memorial Service will be 11:00AM Saturday, November 19, 2011, at the Rose and Graham Funeral Chapel in Benson. Rev. Glenn McCullen will officiate.             Mrs. Johnson was born December 10, 1930 in Johnston County to the late Preston T. and Annie Webb George. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Robert “Bob” Johnson, Sr. Mrs. Johnson was the owner and operator of P. B. Johnson Company in Benson. She was a member of Benson Presbyterian Church where she served as an elder and the treasurer for over 20 years.  Survivors are Sons & Daughter-In-Law, William Robert “Bob” Johnson, Jr. of Benson and Preston George & Gwyn Johnson of Clayton; and Granddaughters, Emily Johnson and Frankie Johnson. Family will receive friends immediately following the service at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson. Flowers are welcomed; however, memorials may be made to one’s favorite charity.
