Virginia Ingersoll Smith

Coats, NC: Mrs. Virginia Ingersoll Smith, age 63, passed away on Thursday, August 12, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Memorial Services will be 2:00PM-Sunday, August 15, 2021 at Rose & Graham Funeral Home Chapel in Coats. Mr. Donald Pope will officiate.

Mrs. Smith was born on March 1, 1958 in Turkey to the late Raymond and Elizabeth Epps Ingersoll. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Liz Perell. Mrs. Smith retired from Pope’s Hardware Store in Coats after 20 plus years of service.

Surviving are her husband of 32 years, J. D. Smith; daughter, Vikki Ingersoll Blessing and husband, Danny of Angier, son-in-law, Mike Perell of Willow Spring; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; special pets, Brownie and Luna.

Family will receive friends immediately following the service at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Coats and other times at the home.
