Vivian Scott McLamb

Benson, NC: Mrs. Vivian Scott McLamb, age 84, passed away on Saturday, July 3, 2021 at Liberty Commons Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Benson. Funeral Services will be 2:00PM, Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at Rose & Graham Funeral Chapel in Benson, NC. Rev. Kevin Barbour and Randy Beasley will officiate. Burial will follow in Banner Chapel Advent Christian Church Cemetery in Benson.

Mrs. McLamb was born on June 21, 1937 in Robeson County to the late John and Gertrude Strickland Scott. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Elton “Mack” McLamb; a daughter, Peggy Grantham and sons, Thomas McLamb and Keith McLamb. She was a farmer, homemaker and loved working with her flowers.

Surviving include her son, Elton McLamb and wife, Kelly of Virginia; daughter-in-law, Christie McLamb of Virginia; son-in-law, Royce Grantham of Benson; grandchildren, Kelly O’Banion and husband, Jamie; Renee Buck and husband, Tom, Stephanie Williams and husband, David, Jeffrey McLamb and wife, Sarah, Keith McLamb, Jr.; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson; sisters, Beulah Mae Croom of Laurinburg, Pee Wee Hatcher of Laurinburg; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends 1:00PM to 1:45PM prior to the service at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson.
