Wallace Young

Benson, NC: Mr. Wallace E. Young age 77, of 2043 Beasley Rd died Thursday at his residence. Funeral Service will be 3:00PM Sunday March 25, 2012 at the Rose & Graham Funeral Chapel in Benson.  Officiating will be Rev. Randy Beasley. Burial will follow in Banner Chapel Advent Christian Church Cemetery.   Mr. Young was born November 21, 1934 in Johnston County to the late Elton and Ila Johnson Young. He was a retired farmer and drywall finisher. He was preceded in death by a brother, Tommy Ray Young. Surviving: Wife of 58 years, Shelby Parker Young, Daughters and Sons-in-law, Janice & Steve Walker of Coats and Debra & Kenneth “Henry” Norris of Benson, Son & Daughter-in-law, Steven & Kim Young of Benson; Seven Grandchildren, Eight Great-Grandchildren; Sisters, Mavene Hudson of Benson and Golda Adams of Benson; Brother, E. J. Young of Newton Grove. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2:45 Sunday, March 25, 2012 prior to the funeral service at the funeral home and at other times at the home of his Son, Steven Young, 3033 Woods Crossroads Road, Benson.
