Walter "Wally" Skelly

Benson, NC:  Mr. Walter Francis "Wally" Skelly, age 76, of 700 Raynor Road died Saturday, May 4, 2019  at the SECU Hospice House in Smithfield.   A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, May 11, 2019, 2:00PM at Beulah Baptist Church, 3140 NC HYW 242 S., Benson, NC 27504. Officiating will be Rev. Michael Hall.             Mr. Skelly was born November 27, 1942 in New York to Red and Madeline Rielless Skelly.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Ida Florance Parker Skelly. Mr. Skelly was a retired trucker and member of Beulah Baptist Church.             Surviving are daughter and son-in-law, Dina and Donald Bailey of Benson; son, Douglas Skelly of Connecticut; grandchildren, Stepanie, Hunter and Donna; step-daughter and step-son-in-law; Faith & Tom Brown of Thomasville; and brother, John Skelly.             Family will receive friends following the memorial service in the church fellowship hall.             In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Beulah Baptist Church , 3140 NC 242, Benson, NC 27504.             Arrangements by Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson.
